SEARCY, AR (August 7, 2017) - Sherwood Urgent Care welcomes Nurse Practitioner Carol Hughes to the team in Searcy. “We are thrilled to have Carol join our team. She has more than 20 years of nursing experience in a variety of capacities and will provide our patients with outstanding patient education and care,” said Mike Dupuis, Division Vice President for Sherwood Urgent Care. Along with her extensive experience in intensive care, geriatrics and urgent and cardiac care, Hughes takes special interest in health education for heart health and general wellness. She comes to Sherwood Urgent Care from St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Sinclair School of Nursing, University of Missouri, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. Prior to that, she worked as an LPN. Located behind Zaxby’s on Shepherd Way, Sherwood Urgent Care is open Monday – Friday 8 am – 8 pm, Saturday 8 am – 6 pm and Sunday 1 pm – 6 pm.
